Beautiful royal blue version of the classic red velvet cake.
Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box white chocolate Jello pudding
- 4 egg whites
- 1 1/4 c buttermilk
- 1/3 c butter or margarine
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- **2 tsp royal blue food color paste
- **1 toothpick-ful violet food color paste
- Cream Cheese Frosting
Baking Instructions
- Heat oven to 325ยบ.
- Oil & Flour two 8 inch round pans.
- In large mixing bowl beat all ingredients on low for about 30 seconds or until moistened. Beat on medium for 2 full minutes -scraping down sides as needed.
- Divide batter evenly into prepared pans. Bake 30 minutes or until cake spring back when lightly touched and separates from the sides of the pan. Cool 5 minutes then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Ice with cream cheese frosting.
